Sarah was fabulous. But a runner she was not. Which is in part why @helen_eliza_neleh, @dtfurniture and I will be taking part the Kew Gardens 10k this September. She would have loved it, although probably questioned my wisdom in attempting a running race immediately following on from the first week back teaching in September!
Meningitis Now @meningitis_now are a phenomenal charity. They continue to be a lifeline for our family when it felt like Meningitis had not just stolen the life of my sister, but ripped apart our own existence too.
We have a fundraising target, but please donate only what you can, or if you can't donate this time, share our story or page with people on social media. There is a link in my bio for donations too, and where you can find further information.
I miss my sister every day, with every fibre of my being. She would really have loved to see my red sweaty face at the end of this run!
